Natacha Farquet is the founder and CEO of HygiMed. She ensures the development of HygiMed by implementing new services, including hygiene training courses tailored to each specific healthcare setting.

Graduate in medicine from the University of Geneva in 2011, she has acquired an international experience as a consultant in infection prevention and control.

Prof. Didier Pittet, MD, MS, CBE

As the patron of HygiMed, Professor Didier Pittet is the main scientific adviser of the company.

World-renowned expert in patient safety, specialized in infectiology and epidemiology, Professor Pittet is the Director of the Infection Control Programme and WHO Collaborating Centre on Patient Safety at the University of Geneva Hospitals and Faculty of Medicine, Geneva, Switzerland. He is also the Lead Adviser of the WHO Clean Care is Safe Care & African Partnerships for Patient Safety programmes.

Sasi DHARAN

Prior to his retirement in 2012, Mr. Dharan was in charge of the Laboratory for Infection Prevention and Control at Geneva’s University Hospitals, Switzerland, as well as a team member of the technical consultant group for the WHO Guidelines on Hand Hygiene in Health Care

Angèle GAYET-AGERON

MD, PhD, Privat Docent, Senior Consultant at Geneva’s University Hospitals.

Dr Gayet-Ageron is a specialist in epidemiology clinical research and public health, with a research interest in infectious diseases and infection control, but also in the methodology of clinical trials.

Rosemary SUDAN

Rosemary Sudan is the former Managing Editor of the European Journal of Endocrinology with over 30 years’ experience in scientific publishing; she is a WHO-registered freelance editor and also edits manuscripts across all medical specialties, including funding proposals, and books.
